Soon to be making a return

Sorry about the unplanned break.

A lot has been going on, with work, and then with the demise of my iBook – I lost many e-mails (and e-mail addresses) not to mention some posts and so on. Very sad and frustrating times.

However, I’ve been given the wonderful gift of a MacBook now to replace my poor faithful iBook. I’m still finding my way around, but now I’m back and ready to get stuck into finding some people with things to share.

E-mails have gone out today to people who have expressed an interest in sharing.

It’s never to late to put yourself forward if you have something you’d like to share with the world…please do leave a comment, and I’ll get back to you via e-mail!

LFS Introducing… gets introduced at MyLifeByFaith

So my lovely friend Lisa asked if I’d answer some questions so she could pop up a post on her own blog MyLifeByFaith about why I started LFS Introducing… and what my vision for this new ‘spin-off’ blog of Learning From Sophie is!

LFS Introducing… South Africa!

I’m so excited about what’s going to be happening on LFS Introducing… in the next few weeks!!!

Basically, we’re going to have a fortnight of South Africa!! Yes, ok, so I’m waaay biased because I LOVE South Africa. But I have friends there (3 who I know ‘in real life’, 2 that I’ve not met ‘in real life’ yet) who are part of the work God is doing in that incredible Rainbow Nation.

So I’m going to be introducing you to the Caroline, Mark, Alece, Liam & Rachel.

I would love, love, love you to spread the word when they get ‘introduced’ but most of all, I wish that lots of you would come over to say ‘hi’. Do you realise the difference it makes when you leave a comment to say ‘hi’ so they know you are thinking of them. Especially when they are far from hometowns, friends and family.

South Africa Fortnight kicks off on Wednesday 24th February 2010! See you there?

Unplanned break

Hi Everyone,

I realise that this week there wasn’t a guest post. I’ve actually got 3 in the pipeline , as well as some other people who have said they’d be up for being introduced that I still need to send out some questions too (I’m sorry!)

Soon you should get to meet one of my lovely Aberdeen in-real-life friends, Jay, a twitter/blog friend in Nashville, Lindsey and one of my favourite families, the Collies who are currently in Cape Town.

Those of you who read my ‘normal’ blog, Learning from Sophie, will know that I’ve been ill the last couple of days and been crazy busy over the last couple of weeks.

I hope you can forgive me for letting the LFS Introducing… posts slide.
